Easter Weekend!

and what a hectic one it has been. Daughter's long weekend to work and her hubby away on a stag do so we had Ben for a long weekend. Son kindly took pity on us Sunday and took Ben out to Castle Headingham.

Lots of cuddles with dogs

and Elmo slept on Ben's bed making Ben a very happy boy!

Lots of crafting as well.

Of course we had to make a castle today LOL.

I also went to crop, love this photo of Ben.

Also visited my Uncle John who is helping me with family history for my heritage album and we went out for a meal with some friends. One is well and truly shattered.

Dogs are also totally shattered.

Today Gangley has taken a real dip, her left back leg won't work at all and she either falls or just stands but can't walk. Eric is going to try hitting her hard with reiki tonight and we've been giving her some extra homoeopathy stuff, paws crossed, it's awful to see but true to form Gangley is bothered.

Shall be having a very early night.

Scrapping

Had a lovely day with Dawn yesterday scrapping and finished this layout of Ben with Elmo.

Vikki had been saying for ages she wanted a bike, so Eric bought a second hand one and done it up for and gave it to her this week as an early birthday present, she squealed so loud our ears hurt LOL. Now she can go for rides with Ben. Her bike is called Daisy apparently and she has of course a purple helmut LOL.

The nice weather continues and makes for a much easier life with the dogs happy to play outside or sunbathe.

ACTION GIRL

Yesterday I had a lovely ride out on the bike, watched Eric ride, he was jumping. Took some video's as he wanted to see how he looked and what needs correcting then he carried on with Guinness through the woods and I went on David. I was concerned as to how I would get on but actually managed ok with very little help from Eric. I picked up the reigns and Tara who lead me said you've ridden before haven't you LOL mind you not since I was 14 LOL, I had such a strong urge to gently kick David and go myself if only. Not sore today thought I would be.

Here is Eric with Guinness

me on the bike

and on David.

This layout has been in the making for a year. Last April I took a photo of the willow tree in our freont garde, then each month took another. Really pleased with it.

Our friend Bim was has had a stroke but has just come home (still can't walk r use arm) was saying she's fed up with visitors moaning about her two greyhounds, Joe and Mini are adorable and so quiet and gentle so I've made her this for her birthday next month LOL. It's printed onto canvass then I've mounted it onto several layers of thick card..

Mojo had his consultation in the back of the volvo with Tom his vet last night LOL. his heart rate was 150 - 180 which shows you how bad it is but overall Tom was happy  with him, still not sure how the old devil is still alive and running LOL. Just carry on with with current meds.

Gangley is having good and bad days but is still happy and the rest of te pack are happier now tey can spend more time outside.

Actually had a photo taken with my son on Mothers Day, have to scrap this LOL

Cards

I sell them for £1.00 each and all the proceeds goes to greyhound gaps kennel fund.

For my Mum

Who yet  again has had to remind me to blog! life with 8 dogs is always full on and doesn't leave much spare time. I've also been very busy making cards to sell to start this years coast to coast walking fund.

A layout I recently finished, each year I ask Ben the same questions around his birthday, thought it would be fun to look back at the changes as he grows up.

Got thorouhly spoilt on Mother's Day and went out for a meal, photo of my son and me!

The weather has been unseasonably mild, such a relief after all the rain we had! So today I went on Eric's new bike for a ride

then watched him having his riding lesson.

Dogs are thoroughly enjoying the sunshine and no mud! Gangley has good days and the wobbly days but is happy in herself.

Will try to remember to take photo's of the cards I've made, all digital and CHEAP LOL.
