This week over at SCD the challenge is to make anything with the theme of SNOW, which is rather apt as we have at least 2 inches and it's still snowing as I sit here.
I've made a 3d decoupage Christmas card, all hand cut and then the snow area's have ice stickles on them but sadly it won't surprise you to read my photographic skills haven't captured that LOl.
yesterday I had a super day out at The Big Event
made this gorgeous box which was designed and taught by Karen who used to work at Papermaze and I still have loads of kit left to do 2 other classes. I also was the lucky winner of some yummy cupcakes, kindly donated by these lovely people.
And my Aunty Peb gave this gorgeous miniature bear for being a brave girl with my hand LOL. Peb's bear's are famous worldwide and I am lucky enough to have several now. The work on these little bears has to be seen to be believed.
Finally my layout from last months Papermaze crop. Photo is Vikki blowing out the candles on her 30th birthday cake.

Sandy 1 year on ......
Tomorrow is the 1st anniversary of Sandy's passing away.
Not one single day goes by without us missing her and remembering what a cheeky little girl she was and we remember how brave she was in her fight against the bone cancer and how her zest for life kept her going through some very difficult times.
Sandy was the most special little lady and we miss her terribly.
Sandy's story is here.

MORE DIGI
IT'S SNOWING HERE Brrrrrrrr
So I have cracked on with the mini album and finished the last few pages. Printed it all out and mounted onto card, so it's now ready for the covers to be made.
Lucky has been back to the vets again this week for more tests and we're awaiting the results. Some days she looks fine and other days she looks tired and old. Hope the vet can get to the bottom of it soon so we can start treatment.

Paper scrapping
This is my layout from Bramford crop, designed by Janina. So simple but beautiful.
Photo is Vikki, Mathew and Ben at Marc and Rachael's wedding in July.
Poor old Lucky is off to the vets again this afternoon for a ACTH stimulation test to try and diagnose whether she does have Cushings. The vet will take blood then give her some stuff then an hour later take another blood sample.
So for the first time in at least 4 years I'm now going shopping in Ipswich with Vikki, need some jeans and shoes arrgh !!! hate shopping, well except craft stash LOL

SCD challenge
Over at SCD this week it's still any thing goes and the theme of numbers for this week has been chosen by Carol. Many thanks Carol I need a kick to get Ben's birthday card done.
Background paper was made digi but the rest is real LOL...
Terrible photo to be sure but one is ever so slightly cream crackered! Ben had a sleepover here last night, he was very good but the airbed squeaked each time he moved and Alfie had to investigate it each time. Gangley slept with Ben all night which was lovely.
By 8.15am this morning, he had walked the dogs with Eric and made Postman Pat cakes with me........Is it time for bed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

1 year on
Today is the 1st anniversary of Ranger's passing!
Feeling very sad today. This time last year we were having the most terrible time, with 3 of our lovely dogs suffering from bone cancer. It still breaks my heart that dear Ranger only had 364 days with us.
We miss him so much, sleep tight little man xxx
Ranger's story is here. Tissues needed.

Paper scrapping
A very basic paper layout, my first since the hand op and I rather like it LOL.
Photo's are of Ben in his uniform ready for his first day at school.
Lucky and Mojo are off the the vets later and I'm hoping they will be get a clean bill of health.
Sadly we had to bury another one of our ex battery hens yesterday. She had been looking quite old and frail for several days so we were expecting it but I still sad about it. I'm so glad we decided to rescue the ex battery hens and have been able to give them 18 months of life as proper free ranging girlies. So only two left and they are no longer laying. I think we shall get some more, maybe in the spring.
Got 5 more Christmas cards to make today then that's another job done and dusted LOL.
