report from Marc abut yesterday walk, Day 10 Lauder to Longformacas 16 miles
Very remote area, had evening meal at B & B as no where else to eat, lovely meal and lovely people.
No mobile signal so brief call fromm B & B
16 mlies yesterday, 12 of which were up at 1500ft across the moors. Raining hard but whilst up the moors they were above the clouds and dry although they could see the rain below.
Today is day 11 and the final day, Longformacas to Cockburnspah about 17 miles and then FINISH!
which is just as well as they are all
exhausted.
If anyone would like to donate you can do so here http://www.justgiving.com/Marc-Norman0http:

So happy they have had such a successful walk! I can't even imagine what they will feel when they cross the finish-line. What an accomplishment. Imagine how few people can say they made a coast-to-coast walk. So proud!
I've been away and missed the walk, buy our best wishes for their last day! Deccy x
So glad the walk is ending. The lads should be very proud of themselves. They have accomplished what they set out to do and in some awful weather.
they may not have raised the full amount of money they'd hoped for, but in this economic climate to ahve raised what they have is a real achievement.
I'll bet they're excited to see the end coming near! They must plan on sleeping for days when they get home!
